In Israel, 90% of patients with diabetes suffer from diabetes Type 2 while 10% - from diabetes Type 1. The type 2 diabetes is rated as reason No 4 for lethality cases.
Diabetes can lead to blindness, renal failure that, in its turn, may lead to dialysis or even to kidney replacement.
All this may happen if the diagnosis has not been found or a patient is not treated correctly! We know that in many cases, the progression of the disease could be slowed down or even postponed that would provide people a high quality life for long years.
